Teen Therapy in Newport Beach & California

A space to figure out who you are, what you need, and where you're going

A Place to Be Yourself

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, respectful, and real.

My goal is to create a space where you can show up as yourself—without having to perform, have the "right" answers, or pretend that everything is okay. You get to be curious about who you are, what matters to you, and what kind of person you want to become.

Therapy isn't about changing you into someone else's version of who you should be. It's about helping you better understand yourself, trust your own voice, and develop the confidence and tools to navigate life in a way that feels authentic to you.

What Teen Therapy with me looks like

I believe teens need both acceptance and guidance

For Parents: Supporting Your Teen While Honoring Who They're Becoming

Parenting a teenager can bring a unique mix of love, pride, worry, and uncertainty. You may notice changes in your teen and wonder whether what you're seeing is part of growing up or a sign that they need additional support. You may also find yourself unsure of when to step in, when to step back, or how to stay connected as your teen becomes more independent.

I believe parents are an important part of a teen's support system, and I value collaborating with parents throughout the therapeutic process. At the same time, it is important for teens to have a space where they can speak openly and develop a sense of trust and ownership in their own therapy.

My goal is to support your teen while also helping strengthen the relationships and communication within your family. Depending on your teen's needs, this may include parent check-ins, collaborative conversations, or guidance around how to support your teen outside of therapy.

Our work together may include exploring:

  • Who you are—and who you're becoming

  • The parts of yourself you feel confident in, and the parts you may still be figuring out

  • The pressure to fit in, belong, perform, or meet other people's expectations

  • The thoughts and emotions that can feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to explain

  • Your relationships with friends, family, and yourself

  • What matters to you, what you believe in, and the kind of person you want to be

  • New ways of handling challenges, relationships, and big emotions without losing yourself in the process

My goal is to create a relationship where teens feel safe being honest while also feeling encouraged to grow. Therapy is not about telling teens who they should become—it is about helping them understand themselves, trust their own voice, and develop the confidence to move through the world authentically

My therapeutic approach

My work with teens integrates evidence-based therapy with compassion, curiosity, and practical tools. I draw from approaches including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and other therapeutic strategies, tailoring our work to each teen's individual needs, personality, and goals.

I don't believe there is one right way to be a teenager—or one right way to do therapy. We start where you are and work together from there.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

To help you identify your values and create a life that feels aligned with what matters most.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

To support healing from trauma and distressing experiences.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

To explore thought patterns and develop new ways of responding to challenges.

Narrative Therapy

To explore the stories we have inherited and create a more empowering relationship with ourselves and our experiences.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

To support individuals navigating OCD and intrusive thoughts.

Parts Work / Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed approaches

To develop compassion and understanding for the different parts of ourselves.

Your therapy is not a formula. Together, we will discover the approaches that best support your healing, growth, and transformation.

Begin Your Work Together

Whether you are navigating a difficult season or feel ready to better understand yourself, therapy can provide a space to pause, reflect, and create meaningful change.
