The Meaning Behind AlchemyMind
Alchemy is the ancient pursuit of transformation: the belief that something ordinary, difficult, or seemingly impossible could become something precious. While the practice itself belongs to history, the metaphor has always resonated deeply with me.
Life inevitably brings pain, uncertainty, loss, and change. We can't always choose what happens to us, but we can choose how we respond to those experiences.
I believe therapy is one of the places where transformation becomes possible. Not because we erase our past or become someone different, but because we begin to understand ourselves more deeply. We make sense of the experiences that have shaped us, reconnect with what matters most, and intentionally create a life that reflects who we truly are.
Together, we'll explore your story, not to rewrite who you are, but to understand how your experiences have shaped you and discover how you want to move forward. Through curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based therapy, we'll uncover the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and create space for greater clarity, deeper connection, and a life that feels authentically your own.

Meet Rachel
I became a therapist because I believe our lives are shaped not only by what happens to us, but by the stories we carry about those experiences.
My own journey has taught me that growth rarely comes from avoiding pain. It comes from turning toward it with curiosity, compassion, and the courage to ask, "Is the life I'm living truly aligned with who I am?"
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, mother of three, and someone who has navigated my own seasons of loss, identity, and transformation, I bring both professional expertise and genuine humanity into the therapy room.
My goal isn't to tell you who to become. It's to help you reconnect with who you've been all along.

"Rachel is one of the more sensitive individuals I've ever worked with in a field (theoretically) filled with "empaths"; she remains present and attuned to a fault, catches things you might think you snuck past her, and is quite intentional about how she engages with clients. She's lived enough lives to adapt and engage with whatever comes into the room, regardless of your expectations. Her ability to make space in order to process and heal is second to none, as is her capacity for establishing the boundaries necessary to guide clients into growth. She can call someone out with enough kindness to help them move past the patterns burdening them and, just as gracefully, maintain kind and human connections within each interaction."
"You have a very empathetic and non judgmental approach while also being able to gently address maladaptive behaviors from a place of genuine care. You have a strong ability to offer an installation of hope to patients of all demographics and are very knowledgeable in a variety of clinical interventions which helps with creativity in sessions! All in all an awesome well rounded therapist"
"What stands out most is her unwavering dedication to her clients. She is a strong advocate who consistently goes above and beyond to support those she works with. Her trauma informed lens allows her to hold space for difficult experiences with sensitivity while helping clients build resilience and reconnect with their strengths. She ensures clients feel supported in the therapy room and the broader systems they may be navigating."

Healing is both a science and an art.I integrate evidence-based therapies with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your unique story.
Therapy is never one-size-fits-all.Every person brings a different history, identity, and set of experiences. Your therapy should reflect that.
Lasting change begins with understanding. When we understand the patterns that have shaped us, we gain the freedom to choose what comes next.
